Animal Friends Insurance’s move into peak TV results in almost double the sales
Animal Friends Pet Insurance started using TSW in 2013, impressed with our award-winning TV offering of in-campaign optimisation which drives down customer acquisition costs, and enables businesses to grow quickly.
The company had traditionally implemented a classic daytime DRTV strategy which was restrictive in terms of dayparts and programming.
AFI have experienced a significant growth in sales over the last year.
This was a combination of revising their pricing strategy (resulting in seeing growth from aggregator channels) and changing their TV strategy, as recommended by TSW. The new strategy was based around testing relevant/contextual programming in peak, so as to generate a significant sales ROI directly out of peak, as well as supercharge the DRTV element of the campaign at the same time.
There were a number of super-contextually relevant peak-time programmes on different channels. We capitalised on this by ensuring Animal Friends appeared in those slots which really worked well for them.
Overall, Animal Friends experienced an amazing 70% YoY increase in website visits and sales growth of 89%.
